TS Lines upgrades JPI service, expanding Taiwan–Japan connectivity

🚢 TS LINES UPGRADES JPI SERVICE, EXPANDING TAIWAN–JAPAN CONNECTIVITY

TS Lines has announced an upgrade to its JPI service within its Intra-Asia shipping network, aiming to strengthen direct connectivity between Taiwan and Japan.

The upgraded JPI service is scheduled to launch from June 2026.

📍 JPI service rotation:
Kaohsiung → Taipei → Tokyo → Yokohama

With this upgrade, JPI is positioned as one of the fastest direct services from Kaohsiung and Taipei to Japan’s Kanto region, including the major ports of Tokyo and Yokohama.

In addition to JPI, TS Lines also operates other Taiwan–Japan services, including:

• JTK: Taiwan ↔ Kanto
• JHTN: Taiwan ↔ Kansai

The JPI upgrade provides more shipping options within the Intra-Asia network and further strengthens connectivity between Taiwan and Japan’s major port regions.
